Hi everyone!
I went MIA for a bit while I traveled across Italy, Germany, and even Austria! So I figured I would blog a post about my travels.
Italy was completely magical. I went everywhere from Positano, Capri, Rome, Orvieto, to even Venice! I got the opportunity to photograph a model in Rome in one of the airbnb’s I stayed in. She was STUNNING.
Positano was so colorful! I never thought a city could be as beautiful as this one. The city in the mountain, the water was so blue, and the weather was amazing!
Capri was a short boat ride away from Positano where I got to ride around the city, go up the mountain, and even go to the Blue Grotto.
Next stop ROMA! Yes its correctly spelled. haha. Well it was a typical gorgeous european city with lots of gorgeous history. I went into the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, found some ruins, and explored the city. Truly a dream to even be there. Yes I even had some Lizzie McGuire moments 🙂
On to Orvieto! This was a brief one night stop at a B&B in a city that was on top of a mountain. The B&B was so cute and the owner was absolutely amazing! As for dinner that evening we went to an adorable family run spaghetteria & bruschetteria. The woman running it was 7 months pregnant & as sweet as can be.
Off to Venice! Venice was pretty darn magical as well. The city with tiny streets, no cars, and gondolas…LOTS and lots of gondolas! It was so neat to see such a unique city. I took a walking tour, road inside a gondola, and even had some hand made Magnum ice cream made right in front of me.
Almost done… I Promise! 🙂
Germanyyyyy & Austria is next! I stayed in Munich, but I also traveled to Fussen & Nuremberg to photograph a gorgeous model. I definitely had to have a rental car for the end of the trip, because everything was a lot further apart.
I went to Fussen first. The restaurant I stopped at was so delicious! They had an amazing pretzel and cheese appetizer to die for. SO GOOD! Enough about food. Off to the castle!
Neuschwanstein Castle was one of the coolest (and few) castles I have ever come across. I had to walk up a steep hill to reach it, but in the end it it was WAY worth it. I also got to walk over to Mary’s bridge and view it from a different angle and that was so breathtaking.
Next up Austria! I visited Salzburg for one day. Took a 2 hour bus ride to get there(that I almost missed) and it was SNOWING. First real snowfall I have ever experienced and I was super excited about it. I visited the castle, neptune’s fountain (one of the oldest fountains) and shopped a bit. Overall had a blast.
Finally off to Nuremberg! It was a super brief visit, but the model was stunning, the little part of the city I visited was quaint, and I learned that some Germans aren’t very nice haha, but thats a whole other story.
Well that’s it about my adventures 🙂
